I was born and raised in Newton.  Following my tour in the armed forces, I graduated from New Hampshire Business College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.  My wife, Jan, and I have made our home in Newton since 1974.  We have 2 grown children.  Stephanie, an RN, lives in Wichita.  She has a fun loving Golden named Riley (affectionately known as 'Bubba').  Our son Jon is a graduate of Kansas State University and is working with the Derby Police Department.  He has a beautiful rescue German Shepherd named Gracie.

I have been involved in real estate since 1981. In 1994, Connie Vajnar and I became co-owners of Realty Connections.  Our slogan has been "Connecting People with Places".  We believe a home is very important to a family.  Buying a home is a big investment in a person's future and want our clients to know they are very important to us. 

Real Estate sales has been an enjoyable career.  Knowing people put their trust in you with their real estate needs gives me a great deal of satisfaction.  Approximately 70% of the people in the United States own their homes, an indication that home ownership is an important part of their financial portfolio.

I enjoy antique automobiles, sports, and Kansas State football.
