     I arrived in Newton in 2006 with my husband Shawn and our three boys.  He is a native Kansan and I moved here over eleven years ago from Wyoming.  I attended Central Christian College of Kansas in McPherson to play volleyball and obtain a BS in Business Management.  I have also been in the U.S. Army National Guard for over twelve years including  four-year Active Duty tour and take great pride in my service.
